Meet Charmaine the White Swan: A Graceful New Beanie Boo

Charmaine is one of our latest Beanie Boos arrivals, and she's a lovely one.

She's a white swan with a soft curved neck and a bright orange beak. Like every Beanie Boo, she has the big glittery eyes the range is known for. She stands about 15cm tall.

A swan with a story

Every Beanie Boo comes with a heart tag, and inside it is a short poem. Charmaine's casts her as a swan princess gliding across a calm lake, with her crown catching the morning light.

Her birthday is 29 July. That makes her an easy pick for anyone with a late July birthday.

A natural fit for dancers

A swan is an obvious choice for ballet students. Swan Lake is one of the best-known ballets ever staged, and Charmaine makes a sweet gift for a concert, an exam day or the end of the dance year.

We already supply Beanie Boos to dance schools and clubs as mascots and gifts. If you're buying for a whole class, ask us about bulk pricing.

White swans and black swans

Here in Australia, the swan most of us know is black. Black swans are native to this country, and one appears on the Western Australian state flag. White swans are far less common here, which gives Charmaine a slightly storybook feel.

Who she suits

  • ·       Children who love ballet, princesses or fairytales.
  • ·       Collectors who like the softer side of the range.
  • ·       Anyone celebrating a birthday in late July.

Looking after her

Beanie Boos are surface clean only, so wipe Charmaine gently with a damp cloth rather than putting her in the wash. If she's going into a collection, leave the heart tag on. Collectors value a Boo with its tag intact.
